Animated cards for GoHighLevel

A feature grid is where most funnel pages go quiet. Four boxes of text, all the same weight, none of them asking to be read. A card that reacts to the cursor gives the eye somewhere to land, and gives you a place to put a call to action that does not look like an afterthought.

These four are content cards, not decoration. Headline, description, image, labels and buttons are each independently optional, so the same element becomes a feature tile, a pricing card, a testimonial or a plain title card depending on what you leave switched on. Both calls to action on the 3D card carry the full GoHighLevel action list, independently of each other.

Electric Border Card

A full conversion card wrapped in a rough, living electric edge. Keep the complete Featured, headline, description, labels and CTA composition, or switch off any block and let only the message you need remain.

Tilted Card

An image card that leans into the cursor, lifts its text into real visual depth and carries a floating label with the pointer. It rests flat and clean on touch screens, with an optional fixed mobile label.

3D Card Effect

A card that leans toward the cursor, with every piece of it floating at its own height above the surface: headline nearest, image furthest, buttons riding just above the edge. The whole thing is one hover away from flat.

  • product card

Animated Gradient Card

A moving spectrum should frame the message, not wash over it. Animated Gradient Card keeps the middle quiet while a single color trail stays precisely on the border, lights the headline and follows the visitor with a restrained face spotlight.

How to use them

How to use animated cards in GoHighLevel

  1. 01

Start from the content, not the effect

Switch off every block you do not need first. The card re-flows around whatever is left, so a headline-only card is a legitimate configuration rather than an empty shell with gaps in it.

  2. 02

Pick the edge that matches the section

Electric Border Card carries a living two-colour edge and Animated Gradient Card rotates a multi-colour one. Both read strongest on a dark section. On a light page, set the edge to hover-only or park it so the card is quiet until someone points at it.

  3. 03

Add your image through Media Storage

Tilted Card and the 3D card take an image link. Upload to your GoHighLevel Media Storage, copy the file link and paste it in: a custom widget cannot open the Media Storage picker. Both ship with a designed cover so the card never shows a broken-image icon while you are still building.

  4. 04

    Wire the action

Point the button at a popup, the next step, a URL, a download, a scroll target, a call, an SMS or an email. Leave it decorative if the whole card is already a link in your layout.

  5. 05

Check the tilt on a phone

A tilt follows a cursor, and a phone has none. Set the mobile card width, height and padding explicitly, and treat the lean as a desktop enhancement rather than the thing carrying the design.

Questions

Cards & Content, answered

Can I use a card without an image?
Yes. Every content block has its own switch, and the card re-flows around what is left. Turn off everything but the headline and you have a clean title card.
Do the card buttons support one-click upsells?
No. One-click upsells, membership actions and named funnel steps live inside GoHighLevel’s own Button element and cannot be reached by any custom widget. Use a native button for those, and an animated button element in attach mode if you want motion on it.
Will the glow slow the page down?
No. The edges are drawn with CSS and canvas inside the widget itself, with no external libraries or network requests. Motion can be set to hover-only or parked entirely if you want the card still at rest.
