Animated FAQ accordion for GoHighLevel

The FAQ block is not a formality. It is where the objections that would otherwise end the sale get answered, and on a long funnel page it is often the last thing read before the button. An accordion keeps it scannable without hiding it.

This one carries badges, so a question can be marked Popular or New and pull the eye to the objection you most want handled. One answer ships open by default, which is a deliberate choice: a stack of closed doors reads as work, a list with an answer already showing reads as help.

How to use them

How to use the FAQ accordion in GoHighLevel

  1. 01

Write the objections, not the trivia

The questions that belong here are the ones costing you the sale: price, timeline, what happens if it does not work, who this is not for. Shipping and office hours belong somewhere else.

  2. 02

    Leave one answer open

The first question opens by default. That is what tells a skimmer the section contains answers rather than headings, and it is what the builder canvas and a JavaScript-blocked visitor see too.

  3. 03

    Badge the ones that matter

Give a question a badge like Popular or New to pull attention to it. Use it on one or two, not on everything, or it stops meaning anything.

  4. 04

Decide whether several can be open

Allow multiple answers open at once when people compare options, and keep it to one when the list is long and you want the section to stay short.

  5. 05

Style the card, not just the text

Padding, corners, colour at rest, on hover and when open, the border, the shadow and the icon side all have their own controls. On a light page a hairline border usually beats a filled card.

Questions

FAQs, answered

Does this output FAQ schema for Google?
The element renders the questions and answers as real text in the page markup, which is what a crawler reads. It does not emit FAQPage structured data itself, so add that at the page level if you want rich results.
Will a long answer break the animation?
No. The height change is a grid track rather than a measured pixel height, so a long answer, a browser resize and a font swap all behave without the panel jumping.
Can I have every question closed at the start?
Yes. Set which question opens first, or none at all, and choose whether the open one can be closed again.
