Animated image galleries for GoHighLevel

Images are the proof on a funnel page. The transformation, the portfolio, the product, the room. The builder will show them to you in a grid, and a grid asks nobody to look. These five give the same photographs something to do.

They cover different jobs. Image Comparison is the before and after, dragged by the visitor. Circular Gallery and Depth Carousel are browsing surfaces for a body of work. Accordion Gallery expands one image while the rest contract. Pixel Image assembles a single photograph out of tiles as it comes into view.

Pixel Image

A photograph that builds itself. The picture is cut into a grid of tiles and each one arrives on its own beat, scattered, swept from one edge, or opening out from the middle, landing in black and white and washing into colour a moment later.

Circular Gallery

A strip of image cards bent over an arc. The middle sits highest, the outer ones drop away and tilt with the curve, and the row loops forever. Drag it with a finger or the mouse, or leave it drifting on its own.

Accordion Gallery

One photograph opens into a cinematic view while its neighbours contract into slim previews. Move across the strip, tap a panel, use the arrow keys, or let autoplay tell the story one image at a time.

A cinematic stack of photographs receding through real 3D space. Drag it, scroll it, use the keyboard or let autoplay bring each image to the front.

How to use them

How to use animated image elements in GoHighLevel

  1. 01

    Upload to Media Storage first

Every image element takes a file link rather than an upload. Put the images in your GoHighLevel Media Storage, copy each file link and paste it in. A custom widget cannot open the Media Storage picker, which is why this is a paste rather than a picker.

  2. 02

    Write the accessible descriptions

Each image has its own description field. It is what a screen reader announces and what shows if a link ever fails, so it is worth a real sentence rather than a filename.

  3. 03

Use the same shot on both sides of a comparison

A before and after only reads when the framing matches. The element ships with one photograph served twice, flat and graded, to make that obvious. Replace both sides before publishing.

  4. 04

    Decide who drives

The galleries can drift on their own, respond to drag, wheel, keyboard and taps, or autoplay on a timer with a pause on hover. On a long page a slow drift with a hover pause tends to beat autoplay that fights the reader.

  5. 05

    Set the mobile shape

Card width, height, curve and the number of visible side cards all have their own mobile values. A carousel tuned for a wide screen becomes a sliver on a phone unless you set them.

Questions

Images, answered

What happens before I add my images?
Every image element renders a designed placeholder rather than a broken-image icon, so the card looks finished in the builder and in the gallery while you are still collecting assets. A dead link falls back to the same placeholder.
Can visitors drag the galleries on a phone?
Yes. Circular Gallery, Depth Carousel and Image Comparison all accept touch. The comparison slider also takes arrow keys, and the galleries accept keyboard navigation on desktop.
Do these load a JavaScript library?
No. Circular Gallery in particular was rebuilt from a WebGL original into composited transforms precisely so it ships with no 3D library and no external font, and its captions stay real text on your funnel’s own typography.
