How it actually behaves
The source faked the breaks by painting the section's purple over the frame. Here the gaps are real, so the cards sit on any background, image or gradient. A photo can link to a video testimonial and wears a play button.
How to add Quote Frame Carousel to a GoHighLevel page
- 01
Open the element panel
In the page builder, click the + button to add a new element.
- 02
Go to Widget Marketplace
In the left menu, select Widget Marketplace.
- 03
Find Animated Elements
Locate the Animated Elements widget by Funnelslayer in the installed apps list.
- 04
Drag and drop it into the page
Drop the widget where you want it. The Web Widget Settings modal opens on the element gallery: "Select an element to start with".
- 05
Select an element and continue
Choose an element (Animated Counter, Typing Animation, and more), then click Continue. Search by name or by what it does, or use the category rail on the left to narrow the list. You can switch elements later without losing your settings.
- 06
Customize it
Use the element's settings to customize everything to match your brand. The live preview updates as you go, with separate desktop and mobile views.
- 07
Set the page up once
Add the Page Settings element once, near the top of the page. It holds your brand colors, the page fonts, the border new elements start with, and how the page scrolls: a styled or hidden scrollbar, smooth scrolling to linked sections, an eased mouse wheel, a scroll progress bar and the text selection color. Every other element can link its colors to a brand color, so changing one repaints the whole page. It renders nothing for visitors, and it is optional: without it, every element keeps the colors it was given.
Common questions
- Do I need photographs of every client?
- No. The marquee generates an avatar from each name, and the portrait deck falls back to a designed placeholder. Real photographs are better where you have them, but the elements do not wait for them.
- Will a visitor with JavaScript blocked see the quotes?
- Yes. Every quote ships in the markup rather than only the visible one, so the words are on the page whether or not the animation runs.
- Can visitors move through the testimonials themselves?
- Yes. The portrait deck responds to the arrows, the keyboard and a swipe across the photo, and it can also move on its own clock with a pause on hover.
Testimonial Marquee
Rows of review cards sliding past on a loop, the second row travelling the other way, edges fading out and everything holding still while a visitor hovers a quote. Generated avatars mean no photographs are needed to look finished.
Animated Testimonials
A deck of portraits with one face-on and the rest tilted behind it, beside the quote it belongs to. Stepping forward hops the next photo to the top of the pile and the new quote arrives a word at a time, each one un-blurring in turn.
Framed Testimonial
One quote beside a photo framed by hairline guides that draw themselves in, with highlighted words and an initials fallback.
Testimonial Carousel
A looping row of review cards. The centre one lifts forward while its neighbours fade back, with arrows, dots, drag and autoplay.
Testimonial Grid
A wall of review cards with star ratings, photos and an optional header, each card revealing as it scrolls in.
