Worth knowing

How it actually behaves

Four individually scoped strokes make the sequence work at any button size without measuring the label. Hover, focus-visible and touch-active states share the same result, while the final markup remains a complete usable button.

Setup

How to add Draw Outline Button to a GoHighLevel page

  1. 01

    Open the element panel

In the page builder, click the + button to add a new element.

  2. 02

    Go to Widget Marketplace

In the left menu, select Widget Marketplace.

  3. 03

    Find Animated Elements

Locate the Animated Elements widget by Funnelslayer in the installed apps list.

  4. 04

Drag and drop it into the page

Drop the widget where you want it. The Web Widget Settings modal opens on the element gallery: "Select an element to start with".

  5. 05

    Select an element and continue

Choose an element (Animated Counter, Typing Animation, and more), then click Continue. Search by name or by what it does, or use the category rail on the left to narrow the list. You can switch elements later without losing your settings.

  6. 06

    Customize it

Use the element's settings to customize everything to match your brand. The live preview updates as you go, with separate desktop and mobile views.

  7. 07

    Set the page up once

Add the Page Settings element once, near the top of the page. It holds your brand colors, the page fonts, the border new elements start with, and how the page scrolls: a styled or hidden scrollbar, smooth scrolling to linked sections, an eased mouse wheel, a scroll progress bar and the text selection color. Every other element can link its colors to a brand color, so changing one repaints the whole page. It renders nothing for visitors, and it is optional: without it, every element keeps the colors it was given.

Questions

Common questions

Can I animate a button I already built in GoHighLevel?
Yes, with Magnetic Button and Spotlight Button. Set Target to "An existing button" and give it the custom class of the button you want to animate. The widget renders nothing itself and the original button keeps all of its native Button Actions, including one-click upsells, membership and named steps.
Do the animated buttons work with GoHighLevel popups?
Yes. Open popup and Next step are handled through GoHighLevel’s own widget events, so they behave the same as a native button on funnel steps and two-step order forms.
What happens on mobile where there is no cursor?
There is no pointer to follow on a touch screen, so the pointer-driven buttons fall back to their mobile treatment rather than sitting still. Sizing, padding and motion are all configured separately for mobile.
Also in Buttons & CTAs

Magnetic Button

A call to action that leans toward the cursor and springs back, with the label drifting a little further than the button. Ten click actions including GoHighLevel's popup and next-step events.

Spotlight Button

A light tracks the cursor across the button and the label inverts as it passes underneath, so the text stays readable over both. Same ten click actions as the Magnetic Button.

Moving Border Button

A luminous two-color glow travels around a conversion-ready button edge. Includes ten click actions, deep visual controls and responsive sizing.

Specular Button

A light rides the button's edge, lighting two opposite arcs at once, and swings toward the cursor as it approaches. The resting look lives in CSS, so it is lit before any script runs. Ten click actions.

Liquid Metal Button

A poured-alloy call to action with a sheen that swings across the face on hover, a gloss that follows the cursor and eight metals to pick from.

Underline Sweep Button

A quiet text link whose underline wipes in from one side and out of the other: solid, dashed or dotted, flat or gradient.

Slide Swap Button

Two faces in one button: the first slides out of frame as a second slides in behind it, in any direction, each with its own copy and colours.

Flip Text Button

The label rolls out of the frame with a lean while a second copy rolls in behind it: same words, or a second line of copy.

Encrypt Button

A CTA whose label decodes from encrypted characters on hover, focus, or load, with the full GoHighLevel action set.

Neumorphism Button

A tactile soft-shadow CTA that presses into its surface, with light direction, depth, and action controls.

Arrow Chip Button

A call to action with a round arrow chip that slides and swaps colours on hover, with every GoHighLevel click action.

Slide Fill Button

A button whose coloured cap grows across the label on hover, in a solid colour or a gradient.

Iridescent Button

A pill of liquid light: rings of color turn and blend under a pressed-in label, with the full click-action list.
