Flip Text Button for GoHighLevel

The label rolls out of the frame with a lean while a second copy rolls in behind it. Only the text moves: the face, the border and the icon hold still, which is what keeps it reading as premium rather than busy.

Worth knowing

How it actually behaves

A skew shears vertically, so a parked copy leans back into the slot and shows as a sliver of the other label underneath the visible one, and how far it leans depends on how wide the text is, which is why no travel distance fixes it. Each copy is instead transparent exactly while it is parked, and the trip back to transparent waits out the whole flip, so nothing ever fades mid-motion.

The two copies share one grid cell, so the button fits the longer line. Give the incoming copy its own colour and the flip reads at a glance.

Questions

Common questions

Can I animate a button I already built in GoHighLevel?
Yes. Set Target to "An existing button" and give it the custom class of the button you want to animate. The widget renders nothing itself and the original button keeps all of its native Button Actions, including one-click upsells, membership and named steps.
Do the animated buttons work with GoHighLevel popups?
Yes. Open popup and Next step are handled through GoHighLevel’s own widget events, so they behave the same as a native button on funnel steps and two-step order forms.
What happens on mobile where there is no cursor?
There is no pointer to follow on a touch screen, so both elements fall back to their mobile treatment rather than sitting still. Sizing, padding and motion are all configured separately for mobile.
